Hathersage has
historical connections with Charlotte Bronte who lived and taught for
a short while here and featured many aspects of the village in "Jane
Eyre". Try our Jane Eyre walk! There is also a heated outdoor swimming
pool, and at the Church of England there is the grave of "Little
John", one of Robin Hood's merry men. Our bed and breakfast accommodation
is conveniently situated for Chatsworth House, Hardwick and Haddon Halls,
the Caverns at Castleton, the "Plague village" of Eyam, and
Lady Bower where the Dambusters trained are all a short drive away.
