reference to the Disabilities Discrimination Act 1995 we have assessed
Cannon Croft Bed and Breakfast, Peak District, with regard to its accessibility
for disabled guests.
How
suitable is this b&b in the Peak District?
Unfortunately
the Cottage is not suitable for wheelchair bound guests. There are six
steps into the property, however once inside ground floor rooms can
be requested and the showers have handrails fitted for extra safety.
We
welcome blind and partially sighted guests and are happy to assist in
any way. We have a large print menu and can help with your selection
of breakfast if required.
For
the hard of hearing booking can be done either via the E-mail, fax or
telephone where applicable and we have teletext (subtitles) on all TVs.
Although Sandra's sign language is minimal she is happy to converse
with you having experience with both partially and profoundly deaf family
members. Our fire alarm is very loud, but help can be requested at the
time of booking should you feel the need.
